Those who were in São Paulo in the last few days suffered with the cold and with thermometers that reached 6.5 ºC over the weekend. The good news is that this week promises slightly milder temperatures — but nothing like summer weather in the capital.
For those who want to enjoy the last few days of cold weather, the Ceagesp Soup Festival runs until Sunday (28), with a variety of soups and broths. In addition to it, the São Paulo agenda also has one more gastronomic event: the Foodspot, at the Iguatemi mall. The event has restaurants such as Mocotó and Mico, which will serve a selection of food.
In terms of music, Bem Gil and Moreno Veloso, sons of Gilberto Gil and Caetano Veloso, will perform at Bar Brahma, while Sala São Paulo will host Osesp, the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra.
Another option is Pagode da 27, a traditional samba circle from Grajaú, which will celebrate its 17th birthday with other famous groups in São Paulo.
Here are five tours in the capital this week.
Ben Gil and Moreno Veloso
In a unique show, Bem e Moreno, sons of Gilberto Gil and Caetano Veloso, take the stage on Saturday (27) to perform at the traditional Bar Brahma, in downtown São Paulo. The two musicians will play original songs. Tickets start at R$180 and can be purchased through Total Acesso.
Brahma Bar – Av. São João, 677, Center, Instagram @barbrahma. Sat. (27), from 11pm. From BRL 180
Ceagesp Soup Festival
This is the last week to enjoy the event, which ends on Sunday (28). For a fixed price of R$ 64.90 per person, you can taste all the creams and broths available, as well as side dishes such as parmesan, pepperoni and bread. The highlight of the menu is the onion soup, in versions au gratin or without au gratin. Drinks, desserts and side dishes from the antipasti table are charged separately.
Ceagesp – Av. Dr. Gastão Vidigal, height of nº 1.946, Vila Leopoldina, gate 4, west region. Wed. to Sun., from 18:00 to 24:00
foodspot
Shopping Iguatemi hosts the eighth edition of the gastronomic festival on Saturday (27) and Sunday (28), from 12pm to 9pm. Some of the popular restaurants in the city are on the agenda — Mocotó, Mico, Casa Rios, Casaría, Huevos de Oro and Leggera are some of the addresses that serve a selection of food. The agenda also includes workshops and musical performances. Admission costs R$ 30, of which R$ 5 will be donated to the Children’s Home.
Shopping Iguatemi – Av. Brigadeiro Faria Lima, 2232, Jardim Paulistano, west region. Sat. (27) and Sun. (28), from 12 pm to 9 pm. BRL 30
Pagoda da 27
Traditional samba circle in Grajaú, in the south zone, Pagode da 27 will celebrate its 17th anniversary on Sunday (28) with guests and special participation by Pagode da Madrinha. The event is free, but there is a request for the donation of a kilo of non-perishable food. It is worth remembering that normally the roda makes its presentations on the narrow Rua Manuel Guilherme dos Reis. But, as it is an event that should be crowded, the place chosen was the boardwalk in front of the Centro Cultural Do Grajaú.
