The police approached her, and after she began to feel safe, she revealed to them that she did not want to return home to the village because she had been repeatedly raped by her own brother and uncle!
As she had revealed, the first rape was committed somewhere in 2016, first by her brother, and then by the use of violence, she was repeatedly raped by both her brother and her uncle.
Speaking to police, he described a nightmare he lived in that he could not talk to anyone for fear of retaliation.
Something started to change when she met her boyfriend and so she decided to live with him and seek contact with her mother, in order to leave the sick environment in which she “lived”.
In 2019, when the allegations were made, the police filed a case against the girl’s brother and uncle for continuous rape and the “file” had been sent to the Amaliada Prosecutor’s Office.
