They brought large quantities of heroin from Turkey to Greece by truck and trafficked them in Attica: 2 arrests

Transnational criminal organization active in importation significant amounts of heroin from Turkey in Greece with the aim of further trafficking, he was dismantled by the Narcotics Prosecution Sub-Directorate of the Attica Security Directorate.

Two foreigners, 63 and 39 years old, were arrested in the framework of the spontaneous procedure, in the evening hours of Saturday 10/9 in Keratsini, by police officers of the above Service, accused of criminal organization, violation of the Legislation on addictive substances and on weapons.

Another foreigner who is wanted is a co-accused of the above.

In the framework of actions of the above Service, for the arrest of drug dealers-traffickers and after investigating information regarding the activity of a criminal network, the members of which were active in importing and trafficking of large quantities of heroin in the wider area of ​​Atticathe accused were identified, their criminal activity was certified, as well as the distinct role of each one.

How did they act?

In particular, the 63-year-old was responsible, as a professional driver, for the import-transportation of quantities of heroin from Turkey to the Greek Territory, using an international transport truck. The wanted foreigner was responsible for the initial receipt and further distribution of the imported amounts of heroin, while the 39-year-old was responsible for the receipt, storage, installation of a counterfeiting and reprinting laboratory, as well as their further trafficking.

What did the investigations find?

Following the above, a police operation was organized and in their possession, inside a house and in a tractor, which was seized, the following were found and confiscated:

•  heroin weighing -8- kilograms and -18.4- grams
•  powder of unknown chemical composition weighing -9,310- grams
•  2 pistols with magazines
•  -37- 9mm pistol cartridges
•  the monetary amounts of -4,405- euros, -2,620- Turkish Liras, -490- US dollars. and -13- Bir Manat Azerbaijan
•  3 mobile phones
•  precision electronic scale
•  a number of wooden molds for drug standardization
•  -4- rotating clamps
•  notebook with handwritten notes with sums of money and names
•  a number of materials suitable for the packaging of narcotics

The arrested were taken to Mr. Criminal Prosecutor Piraeus.
