On Tuesday morning, the 46-year-old stepfather who was arrested after his 13-year-old stepdaughter complained that he had been raping her for two years, was brought to the prosecutor’s office on Tuesday morning.
The prosecutor brought criminal charges for rape against the 46-year-old, while he was then taken to the investigator from whom he requested and received a deadline, resulting in his apology on Thursday morning.
According to what has become known, the 13-year-old child has been living the nightmare for two years at the hands of her stepfather when her mother was away from home.
It should be noted that the 46-year-old man has two children with his wife and her 13-year-old mother from a previous marriage.
The girl confided what she was going through to a teacher, saying that she was her friend.
Without wasting time, she immediately notified the relevant authorities.
According to the same information sources, the girl was raped for the last time on September 25.
One day later, on September 26, police officers arrested the 46-year-old while the 13-year-old child was transferred to the University Hospital of Heraklion in order to perform all the necessary tests.
He was examined by a child psychiatrist and also by a medical examiner, while biological material was also taken.
The girl’s mother, of Albanian origin, refuses to believe what her child reported.
