“Legal support and representation is a key factor for a woman to be able to escape from an abusive environment and bring the abuser to justice, while it is particularly important that the service is provided to all women, regardless of economic income,” said Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, responsible for issues of Demographic and Family Policy and Gender Equality, Maria Syregela, after the meeting she had yesterday with the president of the Athens Bar Association (DSA), Dimitris Vervesos and the member of the Board of Directors of the DSA Christina Tsagli.
