Kavala: Shocked relatives and residents from the double murder

The small community of the mountainous settlement of Lekani in the Municipality of Nestos, east of Kavalaafter the double murder of the 31-year-old girl and her only ten-month-old son, by her 56-year-old ex-partner and father of her child, who committed suicide after his act.

In the morning, the three bodies were handed over to the relatives in order to start their burial procedures. The body of the 31-year-old girl and her 10-month-old son will be transferred to Germany, where the mother of the unfortunate girl lives permanently, who was initially expected today in Greece. However, following the wishes of the mother, who comes from the Basin, it was decided to transfer the bodies to Germany in order to have the burial services there.

The 31-year-old girl, who was born and raised in Germany, was a Roman Catholic, while the infant was baptized an Orthodox Christian in mid-July in the church of Lekani. The 56-year-old self-made man will be buried in the municipal cemetery of Lekani in the presence of few friends and relatives.

As everything shows, the custody of the child that his ex-partner had acquired was the red line for the 56-year-old murderer and self-made man, who yesterday morning invited his ex-partner to one of the corrals located near his house, where he killed herself and the 10-month-old infant.

However, it should be noted that within fifteen days this is the second incident of murder that has shocked the society of the Municipality of Nestos, as a few days ago a 25-year-old man had killed a 52-year-old man in Chrysoupoli, outside the marble processing company where they worked.
