“Running Out of Time”: Relay in 18 countries for the environment

The baton will pass through Greece on October 24-27, starting from Prespa and ending in Floisvos

the action “Running Out of Time” calls the citizens 18 countries to take part in the largest relay race ever attempted (7,767 km), to convey the message that ‘climate time is running out’.

The relay race started the Friday, September 30 from Glasgow, Scotland and the baton will end up hand in hand in Egypt, the Saturday, November 5where the new UN climate change conference CO27 will take place there.

The baton will pass through Greece October 24-27, starting from Prespa and ending in Floisvos. From there it will sail to Cyprus, then to Israel until it reaches its final destination, Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.

In Greece the relay is coordinated by the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature.
