The 19-year-old denounced the two uniformed officers for what she claims were done to her a few days ago when, according to the case file filed against them, the two accused DIAS police officers raped her in a room of the Omonia Department, where they had taken her, recording probably the whole camera thing.

Faced with a serious charge of gang rape as well as a violation of the law on personal data, the two DIAS police officers, who were reported by a 19-year-old woman for sexual violence she suffered in the Omonia Police Department, are being brought before the Investigator today.

The 19-year-old denounced the two uniformed officers for what she claims were done to her a few days ago when, according to the case file filed against them, the two accused DIAS police officers raped her in a room of the Omonia Department, where they had taken her, recording probably the whole camera thing.

According to information, the 19-year-old appears to have spoken with the DIAS men at the ISAP station in Thisio, where she asked them some questions. The police officers allegedly asked her to meet them at the Omonia section.

The 19-year-old went there and three police officers allegedly offered to show her around the department. The complainant states that she was taken to a place that functions as a changing room, where initially the first and then the second defendant raped her, with the second accused having proceeded with his violent act even though the 19-year-old was injured by the abuse of the first.

The defendants deny what is attributed to them, referring to an “invitation” they received from the victim. According to a statement by the lawyer of one of the two defendants, Alexis Kouya, the 19-year-old “entered the Department by herself” and went to the locker room alone where she “invited one police officer … and then the other”.

According to the advocate, the forensic report “does not find bruises” while the victim reported the incident “three days later”.
