Take a deep breath, mute social media and focus on the banana! This fruit, rich in nutrients and easily found in the market, can be the salvation in this tense election weekend.
Banana is directly related to the feeling of well-being because it is rich in tryptophan, an amino acid that helps in the production of serotonin, known as the happiness hormone. Did you feel the power? So run to the kitchen, call the kids and prepare these banana cookies. Easy, fun, colorful and delicious recipe!

Banana cookies with granola
Ingredients:
• 3 very ripe bananas
• 1 and 1/2 cups of granola (or rolled oats, but less sweet)
• 1 small package of chocolate sprinkles
Preparation:
1. On a plate, mash the bananas with a fork.
2. Add the granola (or oatmeal).
3. Mix until everything is incorporated.
4. With the help of two spoons, distribute the dough in a greased roast with flour.
5. Decorate with chocolate sprinkles.
6. Place in a preheated oven at 180º C and bake for 30 minutes, for a moist cookie.
7. If you want it drier, bake another 20 minutes, always on low heat.
8. Let cool before eating. Store in an airtight container — if you have any left over!
Tip: the thinner, the crispier!
