Mr. Stylianidis stated that upon arrival by helicopter they did an autopsy over the overflowing Evinos dam, and added that the engineers there also give them optimistic messages, that there will be no further problems, however, as he said, they will they watch it.

Mr. Stylianidis met with the governor of Western Greece, Nectarios Farmakis, the mayor of Messolonghi, Konstantinos Lyros, as well as all the relevant local bodies and was informed in detail about the disasters caused by the bad weather. He also visited the bridge over the river Evinos, which was severely damaged, and then chaired a large meeting with the participation of all of the above at the headquarters of the counter-region.

Speaking about the movement of residents, Mr. Libanos said that it will be done through the Ionian Road, emphasizing that “there will be a provision so that citizens who move in the area, within a radius that we will define, do not pay tolls.”
Finally, in what has to do with the destruction that took place in agricultural crops, according to Mr. Libanos “will be carried out immediate inspections by ELGA and the damage will be assessed, in order to compensate those affected.”
The meeting was also attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food Christianna Kalogirou, the Deputy Regional Governors Athanasios Mavrommatis and Maria Salma, the Mayor of Aktio-Vonitsa Georgios Apostolakis, the Mayor Agirimachos Xiromerochos Iolorichos Oriromachos Xiromeros Iolorichos Papanastasiou, the mayor of Nafpaktia Vassilios Gizas and the mayor of Thermo Spyros Konstantaras.
