The ships will remain moored in the ports of the country until 12 midnight today, December 13, due to the new 48-hour strike nationwide mobilization announced yesterday from 00:01 on Sunday, December 12, 2021, by the Panhellenic Maritime Federation PNO.

The sailors’ union demands salary increases in the Collective Labor Agreements for the years 2020 and 2021, but also the solution of the problems of the sector.

For today, Monday, December 13, 2021, the seafarers have scheduled a gathering at 10.30 am. at the Port of Piraeus, opposite the Power Station at Blue Star Delos.

PNO asks for the understanding and full support of both the passenger public and all employees of the country, while the Panhellenic Association of Lifeboat Crews with four-hour and six-hour work stoppages also participates in the mobilizations of the coastal sailors.

A call to the Panhellenic Maritime Federation to cancel the strike mobilizations on the coastal shipping ships and to continue the collective negotiations for the signing of a collective labor agreement, the Shipowners’ Association addressed in its announcement yesterday.
