by

As it prepares for the ceremony that will mark a decade of its existence, on the 15th, the 50 Best Restaurants Latin America edition released this Thursday (3) a list with the chosen ones placed between the 51st and 100th positions of the ranking.

Buenos Aires leads with six houses, followed by the cities of São Paulo, Bogotá, La Paz and Santiago, all with four restaurants each —the capital of São Paulo is present with Kotori (65), Fame Osteria (83), Fasano (94) and Corulette (95).

The best positioned Brazilian in the ranking is Origin, from Salvador.

The list is the result of the choices of more than 300 regional members of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy, divided into five regions: Mexico, Central America, South America North, South America South and Brazil.

The judges have varied professions such as journalists, food critics, chefs and restaurateurs.

The tenth edition of the 50 Best Latin America award will take place in Mérida, Yucatan, on November 15th, when the places between 50th and 1st will be announced.
