Fighter flight simulation exhibition at Syntagma Metro station

The exhibition, which is part of the celebrations of the Patron of the Air Force (PA) and will remain open to the public until November 8.

The opening of an exhibition of flight simulation of Air Force fighter aircraft and presentation of the military schools (Ikaron School (SI) and Air Force Non-Commissioned Officer School (SMYA)) was held yesterday by the Chief of the General Air Force, Lieutenant General Themistocles Bourolias, in the multi-purpose hall at the “Syntagma” Metro station. .

The exhibition, which is part of the celebrations of the Patron of the Air Force (PA) and will remain open to the public until November 8, includes:

– Two F-16 fighter jet flight simulators built by the Air Force at the Air Tactics Center,

– Flight simulation of Rafale, F-4E, M2000-5 and F-16 aircraft through virtual reality (virtual reality), – Aviation exhibits and static modeling and

– Presentation of the military schools (SI and SMYA), through videos and photos of their training and daily life.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Air Force took a tour of its premises and spoke with the PA staff and the public.

Moreover, today, according to the program of events, air shows are going to take place:

– At 11:00 in the morning at Flisvo Palaio Faliro with the participation of all types of PA Aircraft, the F-16 “Zeus” Single Aircraft Demonstration Teams, T-6A “Daedalos” and the anniversary Spitfire aircraft. In addition, civil aircraft of the companies “Sky Express” and “Aegean Airlines” will participate. It will be preceded by a musical event by the PA band (10:30 am),

– At 11:30 am at the 120th Air Training Wing/Kalamata Air Base of the T-6A “Daedalos” Individual Aircraft Demonstration Group and

– At 12:45 pm at the port of Chania, Crete, the F-16 “Zeus” Individual Aircraft Demonstration Team.
