The Prosecutor of the Supreme Court, Isidoros Dogiakos, intervened after the publication of the newspaper “Dokumento”, where a number of names appear, including government ministers and other persons, journalists and other actors of public life, whose communications have been monitored .

The Prosecutor of the Supreme Court, according to information, orders the Athens District Attorney’s Office to conduct a preliminary criminal investigation into the allegations and summon the newspaper’s editor, journalist Costas Vaxevani, to testify.

According to Mr. Dogiakou’s order, the journalist must be summoned immediately to be examined and present all the evidence he has, while at the same time any other persons proposed or that will emerge from the investigations should be summoned and examined, in order to present all the evidence they have for the said case to prove the accused.

Already, according to information, the order of the supreme prosecutor’s office is being forwarded to the Head of the First Instance Prosecutor’s Office to be implemented by summoning the publisher and journalist Costas Vaxevanis.
