Public transport
Public transport and taxis will be pulling the handbrake on Wednesday, either with a work stoppage or with full participation in the 24-hour strike, while ships will remain tied up in the ports.
In particular, the buses will remain immobilized from the start of traffic until 09:00 in the morning and from 21:00 until the end of traffic.
The two Metro lines will operate from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. to transport protesters.
Elektrikos will operate from 9 am to 5 pm.
The Tram will operate from 8 am to 10 pm.
No Taxis in Attica on Wednesday – Ships tied up in the ports
The taxi drivers’ union of Attica is participating in a 24-hour strike, at the same time calling for a protest rally at the SATA offices.
The ships will remain tied up in the ports of the whole country as the administration of the Panhellenic Maritime Federation (PNO) decided to participate in the 24-hour strike of the GSEE. The strike concerns all categories of ships and is nationwide.

OSYPA announced its participation in the ADEDY 24-hour strike, arguing that “the repeal of the Hatzidakis Law and the reinstatement of Law 1264/82 is a matter of honor for the trade union movement” while OLME and the ILO participate.
Hospital doctors and public hospital workers declared themselves present at the strike. The Federation of Associations of Hospital Physicians of Greece (OENGE) is participating in the 24-hour pan-Hellenic – all-trade strike, while the Panhellenic Federation of Public Hospital Workers (POEDIN) is also taking to the streets.
