One “Diabetes Village”, is set up in the area of ​​the central entrance of the Papageorgiou hospital on November 14 – World Diabetes Day.

This is a site dedicated to information and education on diabetes management.

In this context on November 14, during the hours of 09:00-13:00, medical and nursing staff, specialized in diabeteswill welcome the public to the specially designed spaces of the prototype village, where those interested will have the opportunity to undergo a sugar test, learn about diabetes prevention and receive valid advice on its management.

As part of the action, printed informational material will be distributed about the lifestyle and diet that contribute to the prevention of diabetes, but also the ways to avoid serious complications, such as the “diabetic foot”.

The event is implemented on the initiative of the Diabetes Center (A’ Pathology Clinic), the Diabetes Clinic (University Pathology Clinic), the Regular Outpatient Clinics of the Hospital and with the cooperation of the Nursing and Medical Service
