Full Glass: Duets series pays tribute to Ozzy Osbourne in beer with 8.2% alcohol

by

With the double juicy IPA Eversing Sabbath, the brewery Sigilo Total launched the sixth and final example of the Duets series, which brings together beer collaborations and pays homage to rock icons.

In the case of Eversing Sabbath, the partner was Everbrew, from Santos. With a potent 8.2% alcohol, the beer includes Strata hops, among others, and the isolated terpenes Myrcene and Humulene. The result is an aromatic drink, reminiscent of citrus fruits, and dank, a characteristic shared by beer and marijuana. In the musical part, the honored duet was Dio and Ozzy Osbourne, who was the lead singer of Black Sabbath.

The launch of Eversing confirms the appreciation of Sigilo Total —brewery from Santo André, but with gypsy production— with the juicy IPA style, reproduced in five of the six collaborations. The exception was the Porter Side of the Moon, an imperial porter with the addition of coconut and passion fruit made in partnership with Satélite. The beer with 12.2% alcohol (imperial porters are even more alcoholic) pays homage to the British duo David Gilmour and Roger Waters.

Among the other previous labels, it is also possible to taste the Highway to Haze, with 6% alcohol and New Zealand hops, made with Hop Mundi — and, in this case, honoring Brian Johnson, from AC / DC, and Axl Rose. In addition to good beers, the Duets series features cans with fun illustrations.

The six labels in the series can be found at Empório Alto dos Pinheiros (r. Vupabussu, 305, Pinheiros, tel. 3031-4328, @eapsp).
