Shocking report of the lawyer of Emmanuela’s family who came to the investigative office to testify in support of the charge against the 26-year-old driver and his 19-year-old passenger

The threshold of the 5th ordinary investigator of Thessaloniki, who is handling the case of the murderous abduction of the 21-year-old student in Kamara, was crossed in the morning by her family, declaring a civil lawsuit.

Accompanied by a lawyer, the family came to the investigative office in order to make a statement to supporting the charge attributed to the 26-year-old driver and his 19-year-old female passenger.

The two defendants are being prosecuted for dangerous driving resulting in death, the first as a natural perpetrator and the second as a simple accomplice in this act.

In a terse statement, the student’s mother said: “We asked him to perform a miracle and he just did. She wanted to give life, it was her wish” he commented on the decision to donate organs after the young woman’s death, a wish that the same student had expressed at an unsuspecting time.

For his part, the family lawyer Nikos Roussopoulos he spoke of “cold-blooded drifting” and emphasized that the 26-year-old driver “did not go out to drive, but to harvest”. “He didn’t care if he killed or not […] Some gave life, he preferred to give death,” he noted, speaking to reporters.

Commenting on what the driver allegedly apologized for during the preliminary investigation, that is, that if the student had crossed a crossing nothing would have happened, Mr. Roussopoulos noted that these are “provocative and contrary to common sense”, adding that the accused fell into “contradictions” and that “the truth always comes out”.

Regarding the organ donation and the offer of life by the unfortunate Emma, ​​Mr. Roussopoulos emphasized that “the family wanted, like the deceased, to give life through her death”, while he thanked, on behalf of the family, all those who through their thousands of messages they sympathize, showing their love for the unfortunate student. “Greek society embraced Emma as if she were their own child,” he said.

Her wallet was stolen

He confirmed, after a relevant question from journalists, that as the young lady was covered in blood on the road after the fatal drift, an unknown person stole her wallet, which contained 1,500 euros.

This amount existed and after the incident it disappeared, said the family’s lawyer.

The two defendants apologized to the investigator yesterday and with the consent of the 26-year-old, of Albanian origin, he was sentenced to pre-trial detention and went to prison, while the 19-year-old passenger (citizen) was released with the restrictive condition of not leaving the country.
