A provocative demonstration of force was carried out by young residents of Zefyrio. They posted on their social media profiles videos in which they appear to shoot in the air.
The videos were taken outside a local house. They appear to be holding heavy weapons and firing into the air, apparently wanting to send a message of power to members of rival groups based in the area of Ano Liossia.

It is being investigated whether this initiative is related to an armed attack that took place a few days ago in a cafeteria on Fili Avenue, which belongs to one of the most powerful families in the area. Police sources report that incidents like the one posted on social media are almost daily.
They also say that the police operations carried out in the area have the wrong orientation as they aim at removing the drug addicts and not at arresting the drug traffickers who live and work in the area.
In fact, they are asking for closer cooperation with the prosecutor’s office so that, in case they perceive incidents like yesterday, they can intervene immediately.
