The temporary detention of the 28-year-old who shot and injured – fortunately slightly in the leg – at midnight last Friday a 27-year-old in the Katsambas area of ​​Heraklion, was decided by an investigator and a prosecutor.

The 28-year-old, who is charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon and use of a weapon, according to his lawyer, said he was remorseful for his actions, claiming he had consumed alcohol.

According to his lawyer, the defendant stated that before the incident he was in a wedding and had the gun with him, which he used after a fight he had with the 27-year-old, shooting three times.

We remind you that the incident took place in a central part of the area specifically outside a steakhouse, while the 28-year-old who shot was in a car and the victim was a pedestrian. The 28-year-old had in the past engaged the police authorities for causing violent incidents, while for this specific violent incident he stated that there were personal differences between the two.
