Concern over extension of episodes with Roma
Until the early morning hours of Tuesday the situation was unregulated in and around the Roma camp in Riganokambo, Patras.
In the area, the Police rushed from the first moment, stopping the traffic of vehicles and there was a police force around the perimeter, in the presence of the Security Commander, as well as fire brigade forces.
The Roma had set fire to bins and tires on Herakleous Street, next to the camp, and had gathered around them, holding stones and clubs. In fact, at regular intervals young people threw stones at the police, while during the night they tried to light a fire in Perimetriki.
