The deputy mayor Riga Feraiu, Yannis Kouvatas, He died in a traffic accident on the old Larissa-Volos highway, near the village of Melia.
The accident happened today shortly before 10.00 am when the 47-year-old deputy mayor’s truck, loaded with fruit, went off the road and overturned, resulting in the fatal injury of the driver. His 18-year-old son was also in the commercial truck, who was not seriously injured.
