In seventeen arrests and 31 arrests EL.AS proceeded today, Monday, in the context of the targeted operations carried out to fight crime, in camps in Achaia, Agrinio and Serres.

Police forces of the Security Sub-Directorates of Patras, Agrinio and Serres, the Traffic Departments of Patras and Agrinio, the Police Departments of Aegialia and Heraklia, the Security Department of Aegialia, support squads as well as OPKE teams participated in the operations. and DI.AS.
in Achaia, searches were carried out in 27 houses where 24 were brought individuals and 13 were arrestedfor convictions and – as the case may be – the offenses of theft, neglecting the supervision of a minor, failure to issue a Police Identity Card as well as drug legislation, 3.5 grams of cannabis were seized and 28 violations of the Code of Criminal Procedure were confirmed.
In Agrinio, 7 people were brought in and one was arrested for violation of arms laws, whereas a shotgun was seized. In addition, 25 vehicles were checked and one traffic violation was confirmed.
In Serres, 3 people were arrested for the case-by-case offenses of violence against employees and judicial persons, intimidation, insults, threats, damage to foreign property as well as violations of the Criminal Code. In addition, two vehicles were seized.
Police operations throughout the country will continue with undiminished intensity to reinforce the sense of security of the citizens.
