A 59-year-old man from Messara, who has been in the hands of the authorities for the last few days, had a small archeological treasure next to the Kalashnikov in his flock.
According to information from cretapost, the prosecutor has already filed criminal charges against him for antiquities and possession of weapons, while today he is expected to be brought before the investigator to apologize.

In the previous days, they searched his house and herd and found weapons as well as ancient ones.
More specifically, they found and confiscated: a Kalashnikov with two magazines, a pistol with its magazine, two shotguns, 257 bullets, 2 clay amphorae, 31 pieces of ancient objects, 8 ancient coins, 2 ancient rings, a metal detector, one bayonet and a knife.
The ancient treasures have already been sent to the competent service in order to determine their archaeological value.
