Legal aid from the United States for illegal software Pretadorthrough which the phones of the president of PaSoK Nikos Androulakis and the journalist Thanasis Koukakis were intercepted, the prosecutors who are conducting the investigations into the surveillance of communications of politicians, journalists and other persons are requesting.

The request was sent to the competent authorities of the USA, as during the sending of the sms messages sent to trap the phones of the persons in question, it appeared that they came from the USA.

The requests for legal assistance were sent on the grounds, as provided by law, that offenses are controlled in our country, such as the violation of telephone privacy and also violations of the legislation on personal data.

The sending of the request aims to facilitate the investigation by identifying traces that may have been left by the illegal surveillance, in order to find its perpetrators.

At the same time and while the prosecutors Aggeliki Triantafillou and Konstantinos Spyropoulos continue to call witnesses for the surveillance investigation, the Electronic Crime Prosecution is trying to make sense of what was seized from the raid carried out on the offices and houses of companies involved in the operation and trading of the illegal software.
