Among other places where plastic caps are collected, a heart has been set up at the entrance of the Thessaloniki City Hall, which was designed by the President of “M.A.Z.I. – With Solidarity We Live Equally” Alexandra Gogousi.
Twenty-two wheelchairs, which were acquired through the collection of plastic caps, were delivered by the Municipality of Thessaloniki in 2022 to organizations and people who needed them, as announced by the Deputy Mayor of Cleanliness and Recycling Kostas Iakovou.

This heart was opened in a symbolic gesture by the Deputy Mayor of Cleanliness and Recycling Kostas Iakovou and the President of “M.A.Z.I.” Alexandra Gogoussi. As stated by Mr. Iakovou, this action started through the “Keep on moving” program and continues systematically with success. Schools, clubs, companies collect caps, in order to contribute in this way to improving the quality of life of people with mobility problems.
