The goal of the 12-month action is to promote the self-employment of 1,000 young unemployed people through the creation of sustainable businesses – At least 60% will be women

Today, Friday, December 23, 2022, the tables with the results of the evaluation of funding applications for the B cycle of the youth entrepreneurship program, with an emphasis on women, were posted on the website of the Public Employment Service (DYPA).

The goal of the 12-month action is to promote the self-employment of 1,000 young unemployed people, through the creation of sustainable businesses, while at least 60% of the beneficiaries will be unemployed women.

The amount of support for new businesses amounts to 14,800 euros and will be paid in three installments as follows:

– 1st installment of 4,000 euros, after the start of activity at DOU.

– 2nd installment of 5,400 euros, after the end of the first semester from the start of the business.

– 3rd installment of 5,400 euros, after the end of the second semester from the start of the business.

As DYPA mentions in its announcement, reasoned objections (with any supporting documents attached) can be submitted electronically, through the State Aid Information System (SSIS), within the exclusive deadline of 10 days from the electronic notification of the potential beneficiaries at the electronic address www. ependyseis.gr.

The action, with a total budget of 43,400,000 euros, is co-financed by the Greek State and the European Social Fund/Youth Employment Initiative, within the Operational Program “Human Resource Development, Education and Lifelong Learning 2014-2020”.
