In the capture of one 33 years old native, who was growing cannabis at his home in his area Cordeliou in Thessaloniki, they proceeded police officers of the Department’s Crime Prevention and Suppression department Security of Thessalonikias stated in today’s relevant announcement.
In particular, after the investigation carried out in the presence of a judicial official on Sunday morning at the 33-year-old’s house, 87 saplings were found and confiscated in two specially designed areas cannabis which were uprooted, a small package of raw cannabis weighing 5.7 grams, a small package of processed cannabis weighing 6 grams, a mobile phone with which the 33-year-old used to carry out his illegal transactions, 13 transformers, the same number of metal lampshades, six containers of liquid fertilizer and a ventilation spiral.
A case file was filed against the arrested person by the immediate intervention section of the Narcotics Prosecution Sub-Directorate of the Security Directorate of Thessaloniki for violation of the Law on Addictive Substances and will be referred to the competent prosecutor.
