The ethos, professionalism, high spirit and love for the country that govern the officers of the Armed Forces during the execution of their mission is highlighted by the Minister of National Defense Nikos Panagiotopoulos, in his agenda on the occasion of the arrival of the new year. “It is these virtues that distinguish you and make me feel confident that, in the new year, the Armed Forces will continue to be strong and worthy of combat and will send out in every direction their strong deterrent stigma.”
At the same time, he assures “you can be sure that the main concern of the ministry remains the undertaking of actions that contribute to the improvement of everyday life, both for you and your families, in order to be able to carry out your mission uninterruptedly and in its entirety. And that’s what we will continue to do, standing by you.”
On the occasion of the coming of the new year, Mr. Panagiotopoulos urges the officers of the Armed Forces:
-To continue with the same passion, method and faith, the effort, so that the Armed Forces, standing as always in the front line, continue to be the guarantor of the security, territorial integrity and well-being of our country.
– Embracing the gravity of their mission, to continue to be vigilant and to maintain a high level of combat readiness of the Armed Forces, in order for our country to successfully deal with any challenges and delinquent behaviors, wherever they come from.
– To continue to work with zeal and professionalism, so that the Armed Forces are ready to actively contribute to society, when and where the circumstances require it, as it has been until now during the health crisis, but also whenever requested by the Civil Protection.
