According to information from ERT, the 83-year-old patient has been hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit of the private hospital “Hygeia” for several days. He is not intubated, but his contact with him environment is very limited.
According to the same information, his entire family is at his side. His children, who live in foreign countries, have come to Athens, while his sisters, Sofia and Irene, were to arrive from Spain.
His wife, Anna – Maria and their children are with him every day, during the visiting hours of the Unit.
The former king and his wife had moved to Kolonaki from Porto Heli, last spring, in order to be monitored by his doctors and to be close to the private hospital, where he is still being treated today.
