In particular, the 29-year-old, who was a leading member of the group, with direct accomplices his 36-year-old partner and her 17-year-old son, procured large quantities of heroin and took care of their storage and transportation, with the aim of further trafficking within the Greek territory and mainly in the urban complexes of Athens, Thessaloniki and Xanthi.
The 22-year-old man and the 39-year-old woman were in charge of transporting quantities of drugs from the city of Athens to Thessaloniki and Xanthi.
On Saturday morning (7/1) police officers of the above-mentioned service located in the area of Malgari, I.X.E. car in which the 22-year-old man and the 36-year-old woman were riding. In the search carried out in the car, carefully hidden in the door upholstery (12) packages of heroin with a total weight of (6,003) grams were found. Inside the vehicle were also found pieces of fabric that had been impregnated with pepper so as to make it difficult for the police dogs to detect the drugs.
The 29-year-old man with the 36-year-old woman and the young man were found in the early hours of yesterday morning in an area of Attica and in investigations that were carried out both in the house where they lived, and in 2 other places, one of which was used as a place to hide illegal substances (a kavatza), among other things, quantities of heroin, mobile phones used for their illegal transactions, and sums of money were found.
