“They went to throw my child from the school stairs”, in despair the father of the 6th grade elementary school student.
A student of the 6th grade of the 65th Primary School in the Makrygianni district of Patras, not only has he been the victim of bowling by 8-9 children (among them a girl), but a few days ago some of them almost threw him down the stairs.
The incident happened in front of the frightened eyes of the 8-year-old first cousin of the 11-year-old student, who confirmed it to his family.
“I’m sorry to report it here, but I can’t find a way. And I fear for my child with all that we hear and see. The school community must intervene. I addressed the director of the board, who probably considered the matter of minor importance. However, my child is being targeted by certain people. He is the weakest and easily falls victim to them,” states the father.
Referring to the incident, he emphasizes that he trembles just thinking about what could happen to his son if the other children carried out their threats.
The father had to go – the day before yesterday – to school. He spoke to the manager again, but as he said, he still didn’t get a response. He hopes that there will be an intervention from the Directorate of Primary Education of Achaia, so that the group of “classmates” will come to their senses and stop disturbing his son, to the point where he is in danger.
As he made it known, the attacks have been happening since last year, but no one has intervened.
