The schools are expected to be put on the table of the Committee of Experts next week, during the meeting that will take place in order for the experts to come up with the package of measures that will be proposed to the government for the period after the holidays and specifically after January 3rd.
According to information from SKAI, they are oriented towards the suspension of school trips, while some allegedly argue that it would be useful to change the protocol in schools, ie when a school should be closed when cases of coronavirus are recorded.
Among those that were put on the table to take effect in the second year, are the restrictions on hours in catering and entertainment, restrictions on people per sq.m. in closed space, as well as the extension of telework.
However, with regard to the restrictive measures proposed by the Commission to the government for immediate implementation, before Christmas, the Maximos Palace is keeping a low profile on who it will eventually adopt, especially after yesterday’s overthrow of the rapid tests for the entry of vaccinated in the focus were finally self test.
In any case, tomorrow morning the relevant announcements will be made either by the Minister of Health or by the government representative.
However, from the package of measures proposed for the holiday season, it is pointed out that no one has a special financial cost and consequently they can easily be accepted by the government, with the possible exception of the measure concerning the cancellation of open-air events places.
