It seems that the Security Department of Ilida has taken “time” in the last few days, since after the investigation of the two major cases of electronic fraud in Amaliada, they also managed to investigate six cases of animal theft in the wider area of ​​the municipality, with a father actually responsible for this illegal act and his two sons.

In particular, the alleged perpetrators had “hit” farms in Keramidia, Agios Ioannis, Avgeio, Ancient Elis and Amaliadas, transporting their animals in a passenger car to a farm belonging to them in Agios Ioannis Amaliadas.

It is about a 62-year-old father and his two sons, 23 and 19, who are accused of various cases of animal theft.

Their action started last December, where they stole a goat in the Sarakina Amaliada area. This was followed by the removal of two goats from a farm in Keramidia, while the big hit was carried out in multiple areas at the beginning of January.

Specifically, in St. Ioannis they stole 50 rabbits, a goat, two lambs, a hen with 12 pullets and half a sack of animal feed with a total value of 1,000 euros, in Avgeio they took 17 goats and 13 goats worth 3,500 euros from a stable, in Sarakina Amaliadas they took five ewes and 18 hens and finally on a farm near theirs, two goats were stolen…

Police investigations helped to gather information about their means of transport, a passenger car and escape routes, while a search of their farm found the vehicle with animal tracks.
