The ELAS Headquarters issued a statement regarding the disturbance caused yesterday at College of Athensafter information about the presence of extracurriculars on its premises.

As pointed out by ELAS, from the relevant investigation carried out by the Northeast Attica Security sub-directorate, it emerged that two high school students of the same area, entered the surrounding area of ​​the College to meet their friends who study there, but without causing any incident.

Finally, it is emphasized that no offense was committed and that the preliminary investigation material will be submitted to the competent prosecutor’s office.

Regarding the investigation of information that was reported at noon yesterday (19-01-2023) to the Immediate Action call center and related to the presence of out-of-school individuals in a private educational institution in the area of ​​Psychiko, the Headquarters of the Hellenic Police announces the following:

Police forces went to the scene and, in cooperation with the institution’s staff, checked its premises, without establishing the complaints.

From the subsequent investigation of the Northeast Attica Security sub-directorate, it emerged that, in the morning hours of 19-01-2023, two minor citizens, high school students of the same area, entered the surroundings of the above institution with the aim of meeting their friends who study there, without however causing any episode.

Following the above, no offenses have been committed and the relevant pre-investigative material will be submitted to the competent prosecutor’s office».
