At all the toll stations he broke the bars to escape
At around half past seven in the morning, a “crazy” chase ended on Egnatia Odos, which started from Igoumenitsa and ended in Metsovo.
Police patrol and conventional vehicles, from Thesprotia and Ioannina, were mobilized immediately, when a car was spotted which had entered the highway upside down and was moving at breakneck speed.
The chase started from Igoumenitsa and the vehicle was moving in the direction of Thessaloniki but in the opposite direction up to the Drosohori toll road.
At all the toll stations he broke the bars to escape.
In Drosochori he entered the normal flow of traffic and a few kilometers later he started having serious tire problems, probably due to excessive speed.
The vehicle exited the Metsovo junction where it was finally stopped by the police.
According to the first information, there were two people in the car, one of them was probably a minor and was loaded with drugs.
The vehicle is taken to Thesprotia Police Department, which is investigating the case.
