A memorial service in Korydallos prisons for 9-year-old Georgina was held by Roula Pispirigou, her sister, and their mother
The 34-year-old accused for the death of her three children in Patra was on Monday 23/1 at the chapel of Agios Nikolaos for the memorial service of her 9-year-old daughter, a few days before the one year anniversary of her death.
Roula Pispirigou had requested to go to Patras for the memorial service, however the request was not accepted. Next Saturday, a priest from the Metropolitan Church of Nicaea will go to the 34-year-old’s cell to hold a memorial service.
The news was also confirmed to ANT1 by the defense attorney of Roulas Pispirigou, Alexis Kougias. “It’s true, I don’t understand how it was leaked because Ms. Pispirigou, as well as her relatives did not want it to leak, as opposed to the official leak from her husband’s side.
Indeed, the previous Monday in the chapel of the Korydallos women’s prison, Ms. Pispirigou and her close relatives, her mother, sister, stepfather held a memorial service for the little girl. It was very emotional” said Alexis Kougias.
