A complaint led to the arrest of a 29-year-old man who posted online ads claiming to have hounds for sale
The action of a 29-year-old man in Patras, who, as it was revealed, had made a total of eight posts for the alleged sale of hounds, had an ignominious end.
According to information from tempo24, it happened at the 3rd Police Department complaint for a person who posts fake ads on the internet in order to extort money from unsuspecting users.
The police decided to set a trap for the fraudster and thus responded to the ad that they were interested in buying a dog for the sum of 500 euros.
The appointment was made and a plainclothes police officer appeared as the alleged interested party. When he handed the 29-year-old fraudster the pre-marked banknotes, he took them out handcuffs and declared to him his true status.
Then the young man he punched the policeman in his attempt to escape, but there were already other police officers at the scene and the irritable swindler was arrested.
As it was revealed, the 29-year-old had made a total of eight posts for the alleged sale of hounds.
