Discover five rooftop restaurants to enjoy the view of São Paulo

Although they have become a rage in recent months in São Paulo, rooftops were already the favorite spots for restaurants before they started hosting nightclubs, bars and even theaters.

Spaces such as the traditional Terraço Itália, in República, and Seen, at the top of the Hotel Tivoli, in Cerqueira César, already took advantage of the high floors of buildings and hotels around the city to offer the public, more than a varied menu, a view to admire the city.

Discover below five restaurants that offer views of different parts of the city.

Rooftop reservation

Overlooking Jardim das Perdizes Park, in the west zone, Reserva opened its doors last Thursday (26) and features a menu signed by chef Roberto Ravioli, serving parrilla —Argentine barbecue with prime cuts of beef— and a selection of pastas and burgers. A dinner (parrilla or pasta plus drink) costs around R$150.

The View Bar
Located on the 30th floor of the Transamérica Prime International Plaza, on Alameda Santos, it offers a view of some of the main points of the city. From the top of the building it is possible to see from Masp to the end of Avenida Paulista. The menu features drinks, appetizers and dishes such as filet mignon with poivre sauce, accompanied by parmesan risotto.

Located on the top floor of Shopping Light, the space has one of the best views of the Municipal Theater of São Paulo. In the tasting menu, there are five to ten courses and à la carte dishes. They cost from BRL 260 to BRL 390.

Ristorante & Bar Lassù

In the north zone, the space occupies one of the highest points in Santana and offers views of Serra da Cantareira and Pico do Jaraguá, in addition to being able to observe the buildings on Avenida Paulista in the distance. On the menu, the restaurant highlights the ravioli stuffed with buffalo mozzarella accompanied by a tomato and basil sauce — it costs R$95.

In Vila Madalena, the bar and restaurant offers a privileged view of the Pôr do Sole square on its rooftop. Among drinks and dishes signed by chef Vinicius Oliveira, the highlight is the leek risotto with filet mignon, which costs R$64.90.
