In the next period of time, WiFi will “come” to all areas of the Metro stations with the inclusion of STA.SY in the project “WiFi4GR – Development of public points of wireless broadband access to the Internet”.

More specifically, with the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between STA.SY and the Ministry of Digital Governance, a series of actions will be launched that will upgrade the services provided to passengers and will further contribute to the digital armoring of STASY.

According to information from the STASY administration, the beginning will be made with the installation of publicly accessible WiFi in all areas of the Metro stations, with the inclusion of STA.SY in the “WiFi4GR – Development of public wireless broadband Internet access points” project. In this way, Metro passengers will be able to have free broadband Internet access during their stay at the stations. The start of the implementation of the project is expected in the next period, when the installation stations and the exact schedule will be announced.

The imminent digitization of the Technical and Administrative Archive of STA.SY will provide a solution to the problem of daily management of a large volume of information and documents. Digitization is expected to contribute decisively to the redesign of the internal organization of services, the improvement of productivity, the reduction of administrative costs, as well as the protection of the archive from natural wear and tear, thus highlighting the value of the historical archive of the Electric Railway , of the historic first Metro line of Attica.

At the same time, the universal replacement of the existing Station Digital Signage System (screens displaying informative and advertising content in all areas of the Metro stations) with a single modern Digital Signage system is underway. This renewed system will give STA.SY. flexibility and dynamics in the field of digital signage, a field essential for the continuous and reliable information of the passenger public. Its ease of management, reduced maintenance times and reduced overall cost of acquisition and use are counted among its comparative advantages.

Finally, in the midst of digital developments, the supply and operation of a Modern ERP, aspires to cover the current business needs of STA.SY and at the same time to support the company digitally.
