A flag with as many holes as the victims of the tragedy in Tempi lies at the bottom of Karavostasi beach, in Bali, Rethymno, to remind the pain and wounds opened in Greek society by the deadliest railway accident ever to happen in the country.

An underwater message of support and sadness for the tragedy in Tempi is sent by the members of the Non-Governmental Organization “Cretan Weather” who, through their site Cretan Weather, wanted to participate in the national mourning and ask that this tragedy be the last in the country.

A diver in the Bali Rethymnon area sunk a flag with as many holes as the victims, which was placed where there is a fixed underwater camera image. In this way, as they pointed out, their message travels everywhere and their page, in order to show that the pain and this dramatic tragedy has fundamentally shaken Greek society.

With victims mainly young children, schoolchildren, students, workers, this accident caused deep pain in the society which in every way seems to support a pain and mourning that became national. The underwater flag on the seabed of Bali was placed by a diver and via the Cretan Weather website of the Cretan Weather NGO which has an underwater camera installed, it travels through the internet.

In the flag the holes look like black wounds on the blue and white and remain there to convey the message of mourning, with a flower and a why, below the date written in black letters to capture the pain of those lost and the pain of those in these tragedies with a word or a movement declare the present and this time there were many.
