A shocking as well as horrific case sexual abuse of a minor is revealed in Mani, with its dimensions escaping from the narrow limits of Laconia and being under the “microscope” of the Authorities.

According to what is coming to the “light” of publicity, the 13-year-old girl she was allegedly raped both by her relatives and by foreigners and even became pregnant.

Not long ago, in fact, she gave birth to her child in a maternity hospital in Athens. It was then that the “bundle” of horror began to unfold further, although the starting point of the investigations was when the girl’s pregnancy was revealed while she was still living in Mani.

According to what the minor claimed, she was allegedly raped by two foreignersa Bangladeshi national and a Bulgarian, who lived in a settlement of An. Mani.

After the testimony of the minor who indicated the two specific persons, the Police proceeded to arrest themwith the same admitting intercourse with the 13-year-old, however denying the accusation of rape, claiming that everything was done with the consent of the minor.

But the torment for the young girl does not seem to end there. According to what he said, in February 2023 she was also sexually abused by her relative, after administration of “strange” substances, while the person in question appears to be the father of the newborn child. In fact, this man is now being held in prison for another crime.

The repulsive revelations continue, since, as reported, a case file has been filed against another person from the same family circle, who is accused of abusing the 13-year-old when she left the maternity hospital after giving birth and hosted her at his house in Athens.

How it was revealed

According to his report “Laconic Type”, from the beginning of October 2022, the minor raised suspicions in her school environment, when she began to gain unexplained weight, especially in the abdomen. After coordinated actions by the school principal and in consultation with a local doctor, as part of a supposed preventive check for all children, the minor student she underwent blood tests, which revealed her advanced pregnancy.

Subsequently, the doctor in question drew up and sent a report accompanied by the results of the tests to the Prosecutor of Gytheiou, notifying the condition of the 13-year-old girl. In the report, it was emphasized that the minor student needed an immediate gynecological examination by a specialized scientist.

The mobilization of the Authorities was immediate and the girl was removed from her family environment and then she was initially transferred to the Sparta General Hospital and from there to a maternity hospital in Athens, in order to undergo the necessary tests, as her condition due to her age was critical. Since then, and until she gives birth, the minor resided in maternity hospital of Athenswhere he received the necessary medical and psychological support.

After childbirth, by the competent services foster care/adoption of the child has started, while the official conclusion regarding the paternity of the infant is also awaited.
