Unions are also asking “to stop now the discrediting of the cultural heritage and the Archaeological Service, as well as all public goods and services, to immediately staff all services and control mechanisms that are active, especially in places with increased tourist pressure, so that the laws are applied equally throughout the territory, as provided for in the Constitution of the country”, for the government to proceed “in all necessary and necessary actions for the protection of all workers against any case of pressure related to the performance of official duties, to stop political pressure on employees” and “to immediately take initiatives from the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Citizen Protection to demolish all confirmed arbitrary constructions in Mykonos and other islands”.
