An irresistible combination of crispy outer crumb and cheesy center
What you will need:
- 200 grams of crumbled feta cheese
- 100 grams of grated gouda cheese
- 100 grams of grated mozzarella cheese
- 40 grams of all-purpose flour, plus an extra 150 grams.
- 2 beaten eggs
- black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
- sunflower oil, for frying
- chopped green parsley or basil, for serving

How to make it:
- We put 150 gr. flour and a pinch of pepper in a medium bowl and stir to combine. Add 1 egg and 2 tbsp. water in a separate bowl and beat with a fork. Add the breadcrumbs to another bowl.
- In a medium bowl, add the crumbled feta cheese, grated gouda cheese and mozzarella, all-purpose flour and a little pepper. Mix until combined.
- Make 20 small balls (about 1 tablespoon in quantity). Roll each cheese ball in the flour, then dip in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs. Place each cheese ball on a baking tray lined with non-stick paper.
- Once finished, refrigerate for 20 minutes or until firm.
- In a saucepan, heat a generous amount of sunflower oil, and once it is well heated, add the cheese balls and fry for 1-2 minutes or until golden.
- Arrange on a serving plate. Serve hot with sauce or plain.
