The two Pakistanis arrested for the terrorist network that was revealed in Athens after their confession to the investigator were given pre-trial detention.

The two men were preparing a mass attack on a Jewish synagogue in a restaurant in Psirri, in the center of Athens, under the direction of an unknown man, 30 years old, who is said to be in Tehran, the capital of Iran.

One Pakistani was located and arrested in the area of ​​Zakynthos and the second in the area of ​​Skala Laconia. The first is said to be the one who had undertaken the organization of the attack and the recruitment of other people, in the group that would attack the Jewish synagogue and other targets.

“They had some contacts with their compatriots and with some criminals as they were trying to find a way to procure heavy weaponry”, said the press representative of the EL.AS, Konstantia Dimoglidou in her televised statements.

The 29-year-old and 27-year-old had specific orders from their Iranian mentor who was asking for money to recruit others:

27-year-old: At least I want it to be worth the money and I want it either in the space or in a central place where there will be at least 40-50 people.
