The neurosurgeon who had signed the sick leave for a month for the already detained inspector of the OSE returned to his duties at the “Achillopoulio” hospital of Volos from today, just twenty-four hours after the train accident in Tempi and following the prompting of his supervisor and its manager neurosurgery clinic of the hospital.

Both the neurosurgeon who signed the license and the director of the clinic were temporarily suspended from the NHS for a month.

The neurosurgeon, supervisor A’, is however referred to the Central Disciplinary Council of the Ministry of Health with a recommendation for a 15-day salary deduction, while the director who asked him to sign the permit remains out of the NHS until the Central Disciplinary Council meets.

Neurosurgeon Supervisor A was deemed to have given the leave at the behest of his supervisor and in “good faith”, not knowing that the OSE union inspector was directly involved in the Tempe train accident.
