The Minister of Health called an emergency meeting for today, Thursday 6/04/2023, in Athens Thanos Pleuris with the director of the Children’s ICU at the University Hospital of Patras, Andreas Iliadisand the commander of the 6th Ministry of Defense Giannis Karvelisin the wake of reports by Roulas Pispirigou’s lawyer about “trafficking” of organs, due to which came under heavy fire on social media:

Dialogue Kouya – Iliadis:

Kugias: You are famous for sending transplant organs abroad.

Eliades: I’m proud of it. Iliadis is not a courier to transport instruments. It is an insult to the National Transplant Organisation, an insult to the parents who have donated organs. It is a supreme good for a mother to give the heart of her own child so that another may live.

Kugias: Is it true that you send the organs abroad, to the hospitals you have contact with and they talk to you, and in Greece you only keep an eye?

Eliades: These are unreal.

Kugias: How many times have you sent instruments?

Eliades: I am proud. Too many times.

Kugias: How many times have you talked to parents and convinced them to donate organs?

Eliades: The coordinator of these sensitive issues, the only responsible is the EOM transplant organization. We have an obligation to recommend organ donation.

Kugias: How many times have you done this process?

Eliades: Three abroad, 14 in total.

Kugias: Which one was last?

Eliades: Protect me

Chairman: Tell us about last.

Eliades: Thomas and little Irene. This is not related to the case and I do not want to answer.

Al. Kougias submitted a request to the Court, after what Mr. Iliadis testified, in order to summon and testify the Medical Examiners Tsakonas, Tsantiris and Tsiola, of Patras. In fact, he requested their cross-examination with Mr. Iliadis.

Side

Iliad’s answer to Kouya

With a post on the internet, the director of the Children’s ICU of the University General Hospital of Patras, Andreas Iliadis, responded to Alexis Kougia, the lawyer of the 34-year-old mother accused of the death of her 9-year-old daughter Georgina.

The post of Mr. Iliadis:

Little people in big halls make sure to talk about things they don’t know much about. And others younger than them listen to them with admiration and applaud them. A terrible reverberation is made by the hollow hands clapping of the hollows because all that hollow vast hall has purposely built
with a sound very suitable for small applauses. Costas Montis
