Life and 13 years in prison was imposed by the Mixed Jury Court of Athens on the 41-year-old so-called “Samurai” of New Erythraia, who in 2021 shot and killed an employee of a natural gas company and attempted to kill another.
A judge and jury found the defendant guilty of murdering the unfortunate employee without any mitigating circumstances and sentenced him to life in prison.
He was also found guilty of the attempted murder of the second employee and for this offense the defendant was sentenced to 13 years in prison.
Furthermore, the 40-year-old was sentenced to 8 months in prison as well as a fine of 900 euros for possession of drugs, etc.
In his apology, the 41-year-old argued that he could not handle the fuss made by the workers and likened himself at the moment he opened fire to a “masturbated doll”, since as he said he was a user and shortly before he had had “two noses”.
After the announcement of the verdict, the perpetrator of the murder stated: “I have complete confidence in the Greek justice system. Prison was the only way for me. I will be a good citizen when I serve my sentence and I thank you for this opportunity.”
