The images of one are shocking pasteurized horse, who was found exhausted on a hillside at Gia.

According to his post of the Panhellenic Equine Protection Association HIPPOTHESISwho filed a complaint, the horse was hanging exhausted on a hillside on the island, with passing tourists believing it had been an accident.

However, as it turned out, the horse, whose legs were tied together and which was tied to an olive tree, next to a slope, searching for water and exhausted bent and hung on the slope, as the post states.

But the worst thing is, according to the NGO, when the tourists started calling for help“came the possessor angry with those who engaged, cut the ropes on one side and started kicking it to get up”.

The union filed a complaint in accordance with current legislation requesting the definitive removal of the animal from its owner.

“Pastured horse hung exhausted on a slope in Gia

On Saturday, April 29, many passing drivers, mostly tourists who came to civilized Greece for vacation, thought they had gone crazy. On a country road on the island of Kea or Tzia they saw a horse hanging from a slope. The poor people thought it was an accident. How can they imagine that the ugly animal whose legs were tied together and that tied to an olive tree by the side of a slope, looking for water and exhausted, bent and hung on the slope. Miraculously nothing broke, or at least that’s what we think it is surely he would die there, hanged. None of us can feel the pain, despair and stress of hanging exhausted for hours tied and pasteurized without any access to water and food. Unfortunately, it is universally known that horses in Greece lived in the Middle Ages as animals of a lower God, while very recently local bodies demanded the illegality of tying their feet together, i.e. the continuation of grazing as a means of maintaining livestock production!!! Tourists started shouting for help, the owner came angry with those who interfered, cut the ropes on one side and started kicking it to get up. Our union filed a complaint in accordance with current legislation requesting the definitive removal of the animal. If it doesn’t come from a jackass who doesn’t give a penny, any private person who sold it on the island and recognizes it should speak up because it will help us to help it. Horses, animals of a lesser God and in the Jia of 2023”.
