In which regions of Greece can the beneficiaries stay for free in tourist accommodation
Until the end of July 2023 holders of social tourism vouchers 2022-2023 will be able to carry out holidays in tourist accommodations of the Register of Providers of the Public Employment Service (DYPA).
Check holders who will not activate their check by July 31, 2023 they will have no right participation in the next two social tourism programs of the periods 2023-2024 and 2024-2025.
Beneficiaries and beneficiaries can spend up to six nights in a tourist accommodation they choose from the DYPA “Register of Providers”, after direct consultation with the provider.
In particular, in Leros, Lesvos, Chios, Kos and in the prefecture of Evros, up to 10 nights can be spent completely free, while in the municipalities of Istiaia-Edipsos and Mantoudio-Limni-Ag. Annas of N. Evia and Samos can take place up to 12 nights completely free of charge.
As stated in a related announcement, the enhanced social tourism program predict reduced to zero private participation in the cost of overnight stays in tourist accommodation, but also increased subsidized prices for participating businesses.
